Recognised Prior Learning for Fire Services is finally here
How many firefighters out there have had this problem…..
I was a breathing apparatus instructor in my last brigade, why wont my new fire service recognise my qualification?
Or do you as a fire service spend thousands of pound’s sending your instructors away on training courses to gain nationally recognised qualifications?
WFST Ltd are an approved Skills for Justice (awards) training centre and we have been busy finding a solution to the problems fire & rescue services from any sector face when gaining nationally recognised accredited courses.
WFST Ltd can provide you with Skills for Justice accredited courses by using your existing courses and the skills of our IQA team who will cross map and ensure you receive the recognition you deserve for the training output you deliver. Once we have cross mapped the courses you wish to have accredited you continue to deliver them with your instructors keeping your identity and in the process helping to provide to you an income stream as your service will be able to deliver Skills for Justice awards accredited courses to other fire service’s from any sector.
We are currently delivering this service to firefighters within DFRMO and the RAF Fire & Rescue Service, helping their Breathing Apparatus instructors gain a Skills for Justice level 3 award in breathing apparatus instruction.
Contact our IQA team today and begin the process of becoming a fire service that stands out as a provider of world class training courses.
